A Quiet Place: Day One 2024
The movie is completely irrelevant to the series and fails as a prequel. It suffers from a weak story and meaningless plot decisions. The choice to give the protagonist cancer, presumably to evoke sympathy, is undermined by her lack of personality. The most notable aspect of Lupita's character is that she's a cat mom. This film can be entirely ignored, as it doesn't stand out at all—I nearly fell asleep during the third act. 💤
