I enjoyed this film a lot more on a second viewing; the problems I stated in my first review were less apparent and I was able to look past them and really enjoy this second instalment. Contrary to my previous review I would say that this tops the first.

I went into this film thinking it was going to make the same mistake as Raimi's Spiderman 3, by cramming too many villains into one film and therefore sacrificing the story and character development. Happily it doesn't suffer from this; there is enough time spent on both the Goblin's and Electro's origins that it doesn't feel like they're just thrown together for the sake of it, and the Rhino only makes a couple of very brief appearances.
