  Kinda had the same issue as Dream Scenario: cool concept, lead actor well equipped to handle it, but then runs out of steam and gets drawn out in the third act

  Both oscars richly deserved. Incredible performance from Brody and a really cool score. Also the time passed pretty quickly— this didn’t feel as long as Queer despite being over an hour longer (complements to that film aside). In terms of creating an “epic” film I think they really pulled it off with this one

  Not rating this one just yet because I still have mixed feelings. I liked the first two acts and the concept a lot, and Nic Cage is really good, but the plot and ideas get bogged down in the third act. I'd still recommend it overall.
