  This prequel to the TV series Peep Show follows the life of Alan Johnson before his return to England and eventual career as a loan manager.

  The Beach brings the character of Alan Johnson into focus as we learn of the time he spent in a cult marijuana-growing commune on a remote Thai island.

  His relationship with Big Suze makes more sense with this background.

  I watched this on a flight from Qatar to London. Ledoyen's breasts were blurred out as well as the sex scene between DiCaprio and Swinton. Maybe I need to rewatch.
