Nowhere 1997
Gregg Araki’s Nowhere is absolutely strange and visually stunning. This is my favourite film of his for several reasons! As always, the soundtrack is absolutely insane, featuring Sonic Youth’s Hendrix Necro, Radiohead’s How Can You Be Sure, and Slowdive’s Avalyn II. Despite the low budget and minimal set design, the use of colour and rawness of each actor's performances adds a sort of authenticity and depth to the film.
