Hacksaw Ridge 2016
Excellent performance from Andrew Garfield and great to see Vince Vaughn flex his acting chops in a serious role. Special mention also to Hugo Weaving who brings his trademark intensity to the role of a broken war veteran. Hats off to Mel Gibson, despite his own personal troubles, the man can sure direct a good film.

The Gray Man 2022
Whole hearted, action packed fun. Ryan Reynolds and Chris Evans play their parts perfectly. Big budget, big thrills, great set pieces, great locations. The story isn't exactly original but lots of fun to be had. A solid 7.

I found the book overly long so the parts omitted in the film I didn't particularly miss. Overall another great installment. Umbridge is played very well. The shorter run time helps and it has a great ending.
