Marriage Story 2019
Whole movie has you smiling and crying alternately. The fight and rant sequences are as real as it gets. The ending is one of my nightmares- the thought of "why couldn't you do it when I was there, why didn't you, when I asked you to" 💔

All We Imagine as Light 2024
4.5/5 for the first half and 2.5/5 for the second. Movies on people from lower middle class often tend to touch me more, and add to that the idea of women seeing hope after setbacks in life, it is beautiful. Though the ways through which they reached there in the second half of the movie was borderline absurd to me.

Oh, this scratched so many places in my brain. The final message validating my pre-exisitng hedonist opinion of enjoying and being happy with the little things and not running after seeking passion and the consequent fruits was so fulfilling. This, being intertwined with other messages on life, in a cute story makes it a perfect movie for me.
