I feel like this movie was overhyped. Cynthia ate and left no crumbs and she deserves that Oscar. The biggest thing that bothered me was how dull the colors were in the film. Either way I bawled my eyes out and would 100% see again.
War films are a hit or miss. This one was masterfully done. Many films glamorize war while this film uses subtleties to emphasize the true horrors of war. Not to mention the magnificent cinematography where every shot left me in awe.
