In memoriam of the legendary George Foreman, this tells the inspiring tale in a rather uninspiring manner. Then again, boxing biopics have become such a formula that an adaptation can only do so much. Certain things are cut and it becomes a bit wishy washy.

Not quite as amazing as I hoped! I usually adore these movies; a simple plot, with an iceberg effect, and two powerhouse performances carrying it. In reality, it turned out to be temporary enjoyment without much to talk about afterwards. Keiran Culkin was very good but not a performance I would have considered worthy of not just an Oscar but EVERY award across the season!!! As much as I love the guy, in front of and behind the camera, it…
