Speechless. Perfect movie. Hard to watch in parts but the end is so satisfying. Best WW2 resistance movie I've ever seen.

Pleasant surprise I really loved this movie. Filmed in my favorite place in the world. Really fun plot, feels like a western. First time seeing Pascal & he's just incredible. Can't believe it cost $4M. One of the better movies I've seen recently. 5 stars cause of how well they spent that money.

Avatar: The Way of Water 2022
Better than the first in every way imaginable. Overwrought at times and more earnest than I'm used to enjoying but it worked really well. Big Jim successfully manipulated me into crying about a cartoon whale. Also visually the most impressive movie I've ever seen. I spent hours just looking at their skin and thinking "how does it look like that how did he do this".
Going back to see this one on psychs, can't wait.

First Reformed 2017
Took me two watches to really get this film. Beautiful, sad. Him telling Mary at the beginning that life means holding on to 2 contradicting thoughts, hope and despair is basically what the movie is. It's both bleak and sad but also beautiful. The end didn't make sense to me the first time but I loved it this time. Great film. I'll def watch again.
