  Fincher seems to be getting more experimental lately. This isn’t Eraserhead or anything but along with Mank it’s one of the last things I’d recommend to someone just getting into his stuff.   I was fully prepared to criticize this runtime but I’m being honest when I say it really didn’t feel as long as it is. I vaguely knew the structure going in based on reviews so I was surprised at the introductions of Jesse Plemons and Brendon Fraser as well as the radio scene happening because I knew they meant the story had progressed to a certain point and each time I didn’t think that much time had passed.
