No force in this lifetime or any other can stop Venkat Prabhu from making movies about how awesome it is to lie to women and be a barely functioning alcoholic. This one marinated in practical blood squibs and seasoned with frivolous flourishes of obvious CGI. Soaked in some of the fuzziest digital noise on earth and left to steam in some of the grossest color grading youll ever see. This is cinema shot on betrayal itself. Anarchic yet structured so tight it could explode at any moment. The smoke. The booze. The sweat. Perfect movie.
