  The Holdovers 2023

  A really solid holiday dramedy that has fantastic relatable character and strong writing. I was a bit worried when I saw how long the film was and while the pacing is not perfect it is very good. There is a false finish with about 10-15 minutes left in the film and I wish they found a way to reshoot/re-edit that scene.

  I felt like this film did nothing to invest me in the characters. Also as much as I hate Elvis I kept thinking how much better Austin Butlers version of the character is.
