12 Angry Men 1957
Why the hell did I force myself to watch this really old black-and-white classic, expecting to find it mediocre even before giving it a chance? Honestly, I couldn’t have been more wrong. 12 Angry Men is a straight-up masterpiece. The tension, the performances, the direction—everything about it is just brilliant. I went in thinking it would be dry and bland, but instead, I was absolutely stunned by it from start to finish.
