you know, i thought Robin Williams was going to be in this movie. and then i was watching it, and he took so long to come in, i thought "ah, I've confused myself with dead poets society." and then he did walk in.
this film was fantastic, very gripping and emotional. i did cry!
i'm so fresh off of watching this that the thoughts haven't marinated yet so i might edit this to include more musings later
i wanted to watch this movie for two reasons:
1. every year a movie with two men and a woman comes out and i convince myself in a freudian stupor that i want two boyfriends (which is two more than i ever want)
2. having not had a twilight phase in youth, i am making up for it by wanting two robert pattinson's to double team me.
i got the ratio of threesome shenanigans to rest of the movie correct…
i can understand why this film has become so popular. i like what it brought to the table, but i'm not sure i like how it was done. i feel like it would have been more interesting to have the killer be more involved with the cast before the reveal of who it was. i like who it was, i really do, but it felt a bit useless because we had nothing to contrast with - a reveal like this…
