This film isn’t great but the amount of hate Osgood Perkins gets on here is beyond the pale. What have any of you terminally online weirdos ever done in your life besides making stale, recycled, sarcastic quips in your pathetic hermit internet fiefdom (yes, ironic)? This world is so full of hate and I’m doing my part by hating this website and all of you.

The Gorge 2025
Scott Derrickson - good at what he does, but what he does is not so good.
This year's Bird Box, a fun high concept stymied by bad acting, bad accents, bad CGI, bad writing, shoehorned and pointless literary references, derivative ideas (Annihilation for dummies), and plot contrivances. That being said, much like Bird Box, I took a certain guilty pleasure from this. Needed more Bughuul.

Sometimes I look back on the '90s and think, what a time to be alive that was. Then I see this Jim Carrey dross and think again. He really is extraordinarily unfunny and annoying. Isn't it funny, his mouth is open. Isn't it funny, he juts out his lower jaw. Isn't it funny, he has a lisp and makes random vocalisations while flailing around.
Always a pleasure to see Janeane Garofalo. The extra half star is for the truly hilarious court room phone call scene, in which Ben Stiller, with no dialogue and just 5 seconds of facial acting, is funnier than Jim Carrey's entire career.
