An amazing story one-sidedly told. Would have been much more interesting if it was made with a willingness to entertain criticism of Knepp and reflect on the estate's shortcomings.

Franchise is definitely running out of puff at this point. Lacking almost all of the charm of the first two.

An anxiety attack in movie form. If this was any longer than 90 minutes it might have been unbearable to watch. Sandler finding a bit of authority and control in the last 30 minutes released some of the tension.

Something about the colours and composition struck me. All the characters wear distinct colours and outfits yet the whole palette is muted. And there are a lot of very stylised shots but it doesn't feel like a stylised movie.

How much total run-time is Sandler in a long, wide shot running in his funny suit?

Someone told me to watch this film. I can't remember if they said it was bad or good. After watching I'm still not sure.

I loved this film. It was definitely imperfect. The last 15 minutes threw me out of suspension a bit and there were a couple of moments that were a bit heavy handed. But the flaws just make it that much more endearing.

Ralph Fiennes is always a joy. Nicholas Hoult is perfectly loathsome but sympathetic at the end. And Hong Chau was enigmatic and powerful.
