Cold War 2018
I don't usually write reviews but this time it just couldn't be different. The film is absolutely brilliant and beautiful, both in terms of frames and story. It's a black and white film, but nothing is black and white, only shades of grey. A film full of paradoxes showing the power and tragedy of love. As a Pole, I was captivated by the story of Poland after the war, in the times of the PRL, showing the fate of Poles and the lives of artists. A deep, ambiguous film in which silence says more than many dialogues. I cannot recommend it more.
