  Don’t ever let an actual film buff see my ratings <3 3.5 stars in the way it was 7/10, obviously it was cringe and some of the singing (cady songs) was not good! Many times it seemed like the actors were forgetting their line delivery in a school play! But I had so much fun, the nostalgia was all there, Renee Rapp was everything, and I LOVED Auli'i Cravalho as Janis!! Her voice was amazing and the Janis and Damian scenes carried. Tbh I would rewatch

  I enjoyed my time during this movie! Many predictable moments but it was cute and funny and made me feel the way an OG early 2000s romcom was. Would watch again! 4.5
