Kneecap 2024
This movie could've been dogshite and it still would be culturally significant. In my life I have regretted greatly not learning Gaelic. Gregory's Girl 1980
A coming of age story based in Scotland, that isn't over the top about its nationality, there aren't characters shouting about their hate for England while wearing kilts and downing buckfast, which we all do love, but it is such a breath of fresh air (despite the movie being over 40 years old) to have a movie that is just naturally Scottish, a movie that makes me feel like I'm back in school again using language that I recognise so…

The Monkey 2025
...really ...stupid, couldve been a blast but unfortunately let down by Osgood Perkin's inability to write characters? but the tone of the film is just inconsistent too? - so the characters really dont fit the world thats, attempted, to be set up. Really could've been final destination levels of fun, but oh well. Some great kills, and really good jokes, Theo James as older Bill is a blast to watch, but this is just too all over the place to have much positive to say about it, really left a sour taste in my mouth despite being somewhat entertained

Goodnight, Mister Tom 1998
loving Goodnight Mister Tom isn't just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle, a reason to breathe, an escape from this cruel world filled with thieves. It’s art, the first gift you open on christmas, a hug from a loved one, everything you’ve ever wanted, everything you need.
