  I gave this movie a standing ovation in my room. I have so many thoughts swirling in my head that I can hardly put them into words. First off, the cinematography was flawless. On top of that, I couldn’t stop smiling throughout the entire film. I’m usually not a huge fan of musicals, but Ryan Gosling’s performance completely won me over. And the story? Absolutely breathtaking. The ending, showing the alternate paths their lives could have taken, completely shattered me. They both deserved a happy ending, and in a way, I suppose they still got one.
