As someone who has had the very unique experience of being a teenager, this movie resonated with me deeply. There is something intoxicating about the notion of being ‘surf surf crazy’ whilst simultaneously saying ‘hi to the sky.’ Big questions are asked of viewers, with conundrums such as;
- Why does the sky not talk back?
- Does anyone actually get bruised?
- Why do people on motorbikes insist on dominating territory on the beach? Can’t they find a mechanic…

Diving deeper in to Same Game Multi-verse, viewers are presented with what is the cinematic equivalent of a Microsoft product - something that is poorly thought out, makes you laugh (at it, not with it) and would probably disappoint my mum. Proving once again there is a reason that these comics should have stayed on paper, we are rudely reminded that as a society we have nothing more to offer than another America-centric super-hero movie featuring a green macaroni man…
