  I liked the costumes and 70’s atmosphere of the movie. You truly feel the vast nothingness and space of rural Texas especially for this being filmed in New Zealand. What is unrealistic for me in this film is that anyone would trust an old white couple in rural Texas not to try to kill them at some point. 

  I feel like if you are from Texas you would know that.
