The Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome

Well, that was a hell of a trip..

I can’t really remember a movie, let alone short film, that was so fun and captivating to watch. Everything about this movie is weird, but somehow natural. The colours, the music, the  odd characters and symbols - everything blends together into one bizarre psychedelic fever dream.  Or something you might see when your computer catches a deadly virus. And the fact that I watched it on some porn site makes it even creepier.

The visuals and aesthetics off this film are just immaculate, but the music to this film..
I don’t know how Goblin made this OST, but it just feels like it’s out of this world. It fascinates from the very beginning, where it seems so calm with purely magical bells playing over and over.  As the story progresses they begin to sound hunting and background whispers makes this soundtrack even more really disturbing and in final scenes it feels truly terrifying
