When is Barry Keoghan going to NOT be a twisted little freak for once?
Anyway. I spent much of the running time wondering what this was all adding up to. In the end, not much, just more misery, but I guess that's the point. Just miserable people dragging everyone down with them.

No Country for Old Men 2007
Very tactile movie. This time around I relished all the quiet moments of hands grabbing and tinkering with all kinds of stuff. Opening drawers, tearing up shirts, handling money, etc. Lots of moments of eyes scanning and searching for what is and isn't there. It's all add a lot of texture to the film.
Which reminds me, the new 4k version adds a lot of literal texture to the film; lots of fine film grain that wasn't there before. Older releases had a more clean, digital look, which thankfully isn't the case this time around.Translated from by
