    Bad Girls Go to Hell

    strikes a really interesting balance of being salacious without reveling too much in the protagonist’s suffering. it’s clear wishman wanted to depict a living nightmare rather than sexual violence for shock factor. the exploitation tropes can make this hard to see at times but you can tell in her restrained approach to depicting nudity that she wants the audience to inhabit the protagonist’s perspective rather than see her as a sexual object.
