How has CGI not improved upon this in the 20 years since it was released? Kind of incredible.
These sequels got way too much hate at the time they came out. They’re great! They need to go back to making action blockbuster franchises more like this. So much better than what we have now.

Was looking forward to this for a long time after like 100 delays. Right on the cusp between a 3.5 star and a 4 star, will have to watch it again to confirm. Generally not a fan of biopics (particularly music biopics) because I usually find the formula pretty lazy and trite. I will admit that, being a huge fan of Bob Dylan, I was probably predisposed to liking this one anyway — but, although this doesn’t avoid every single annoying biopic cliche, it mostly does avoid them, and in the end I really connected with this movie.
