  Akira Kurosawa invented dreaming, then he invited life, and then he invented bucket hats. While directing some films in his spare time.

  This is undoubtedly one of the best looking films ever made. This isn’t Kurosawa’s dreams, this is everything Kurosawa is and was, from birth until death. In short vignettes this film tackles duality, Japanese traditionalism, creativity, trauma, atomic warfare and the endless dance between human morality and mortality. Kurosawa dropped one of cinema’s greatest anti war films, and best homage to life films, IN THE SAME FILM, and then dipped.
