The Way We Talk 2024
Half the audience in this screening were deaf, and listening to them tell their own stories and experiences of the struggles of growing up deaf was incredibly moving. They all repeatedly thanked the director for bringing a story that felt so real to them to the big screen, and he seemed very humbled by their words. A film and an experience that will stay with me for a long time
