    Trouble with the Curve

    Clint Eastwood lamenting in silence would do great for me, it's like the instance when you can't see the hitch but you know the sound by heart. This film never had that. We instead get an awkward song recitation, with Eastwood trying to be all sad, but it's still him being the angry-face version of himself.

    So, Kubrick's debut (which I, of course, had to watch for no reason) is a documentary-style short film establishing around and narrating about, even literally, Fred Stadmuller, a priest who devotes his life to the service of people and their good.
