My first review. I am glad they showed the perspective of the civilians being caught in the horrific crossfire of the troubles, however to absolve the British army at that time, and insinuate that they were moral bystanders is reprehensible.
It's a true pity because I enjoyed the movie, the framing of it showed the complexities from the British and Ulster side to ensure they came out of it untouched, yet the IRA depiction was narrow and showed one humanised…
