    Haven’t seen this in years. When I did, I wasn’t overly impressed. It felt clever, but passionless; didn’t impact me emotionally in the way that — say — Eternal Sunshine did. And, to a degree, that’s still the case — just less so. The film jumps back and forth between so many characters that it can’t help but spread itself emotionally thin.

    I don’t think I’ve seen Mrs Boogedy talk back at a movie this much — maybe ever? I.e. Effective.

    The movie only has one goal (to be suspenseful), but it executes it perfectly.

    A Rosetta Stone for much of what Spielberg has done since. The fact that he was given a great script by one of our best writers doesn’t hurt. 

    Damn.

    Clearly a true indie. We need more films like this, and these films need all the support they can get. Hope some ambitious distributor snatches this up and gives it the release it deserves.
