Captain America once again is forced to go to Wakanda, but this time (and for reasons the movie does NOT answer in 123 minutes) it has been hidden at the North Pole. Obviously they could not cast the late Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, so J.K. Simmons (!!!) is taking over as Red Panther or whatever. At least they kept the Dora Milaje, their leader is still bald and this time played by Dwayne Johnson. Liked the chemistry between him and Cap, but man, Marvel is still smoking some weird shit after Endgame.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 2022
Oh wow, that was an awesome requiem for Chadwick Boseman! Great atmosphere, very mature, very feministic, and sometimes _very_ quiet, even in tough fight sequences.
While the first movie had a futuristic african nation that successfully prevented colonization in the past, this time it’s an ancient Mayan race that successfully fought against slavery and genocide. Though it’s a bit weird that we got indigenous blue water people a month before the release of Avatar 2, but so be it.
