This movie is so peculiar.
I didn’t like the first 30 minutes while I was watching it, and I still don’t like thinking about it, but after seeing the rest of the movie I understand how necessary it was to understand her character.
It’s so sad to see her in “work mode” because it’s all so fake. There’s a quick 5 minute glimpse of her life outside of work and it’s just heartbreaking.
The portrayal of her character was so well done. Also, I’m not going to even try to explain the ending.
It makes sense this movie won best picture. 9/10
