  This is exactly how I’d like to direct. Breathless is brief but takes its time, it’s flowy and continuously open to just following what it feels is interesting in that moment. In turn Godard creates this aimless loving vibe that sits for the whole movie.   Yeah yeah you know what they say, it’s pretty amazing. Really loved the atmosphere and directing. Felt methodical and reminded me a lot of Takeshi Kitano’s early films in how it builds tension and atmosphere through long drawn out shots, turning the otherwise mundane into something much bigger (plus both have a pretty depressing atmosphere too).
