Great performance from Elijah Wood and Stephen McHattie. The first 1/3 is brilliant, the 2/3 is good, but the final 1/3 just takes the tone into an overdrive, which makes it feel like a completely different film.

A great Stephen King adaptation, where the horror flows side by side with dread, devastating sorrow, as a dark shadow creeping ever closer.

Not quite up to the standard of the first Shaun the Sheep movie, but pretty close. What the first had in heart, this one has in love for the sci-fi genre. Technically and creatively Aardman is still a studio that’s hard to beat. I’ve now watched this 5 times w my youngest daughter, and it’s still enjoyable.

One of the underrated gems of the 90’s. An effective, intense thriller which deserves a good blu-ray release.
