Despite some questionable dialogue and plot holes, it is melodrama done right. A great standalone from the original Twister. It definitely checks all of the boxes as a summer blockbuster.
I’m quite impressed how Lee Issac Chung tackled on this as Director. A big jump from Minari 👏👏
I think he brought a lot to the table. There are little signature flairs of his style when Kate is in her element.
