Personal top 3 films of all time for me, genuinely is one of the greatest feats of filmmaking, the cinematography, the soundtrack - so minimal and hauntingly, starkly beautiful. Everyone from Dicaprio to Goodluck who plays his son are just totally believable in their performances, Hardy is cold in his roll, which works so well with Poulter’s and Gleeson’s characters showing a sense of unease and almost fear of him. Lubezki is simply one of the finest cinematographers of our time and his style is just perfection for this tale of isolation or perseverance of the human spirit in nature.

Nolan’s finest work imo with McConaughey being consistently fantastic until he delivers one of the most emotional performances in that one scene watching the video message. I hope to see in 70mm one day as with 2001.
