What happends when a supposed City of God is abandoned by its creator?

An absolute masterpiece, City of God manages to funny, thoughtful and utterly bone chilling, a showing a stark look at life Rio De Jeneiro that's can feel utterly hopeless yet somehow shambles together it's own community in the midst of all the death and malice.

This movie is also a excellent example of showcasing multiple perspective and how they all tie together in one cohesive package with…

Well it was about time I got around to this one considering the historic importance of it in the animation medium.
The first thing I noticed about Akria was the animation and how much of a technical marvel it is, it's hard to believe over 30 years old and still look better then most things out now.

The original surprised everyone with its quality and heart and somehow they managed to surpass it with the sequel.

Fantastic animation and chirography, hilarious comedy as usual with some moments that made me cry (I love Ping such a great dad) along with a terrifying and kinda sad villain (honestly I think he surpasses Tai Lung in the villain department)

This movie is Dreamworks at their best and is one I highly recommend along with the original

a beautifully animated movie (i expect nothing less from the staff at Ghibli) that shows a war brewing where all sides have a understandable motive for what they do but the results are still horrific.

in terms of complaints I would say the main character himself isint particularly interesting and the romance element didint feel particularly believable.

Not my favorite Miyazaki movie (that still gos to Spirited Away) but I can see why this is hailed as a classic
