  Unflinching Villeneuve feature-length debut capturing the trauma around an active shooter. Finds art in physical mundanity of college life -- the copier, the projector, the flourescent lights. Threadbare on plot, but it doesn't need a lot. Was worried fictionalizing all of the people would create emotional distance, but it's affecting and probably more palatable this way.

  Audacious, high-voltage social satire fit for a world that's built on Directive 4. Stunning, acerbic and metal, just tons of fun
