  Writing can be a bit on the nose, but still a well-done exploration of a complicated situation. Characters are varied, complex, and realistic.
  And, not to be a cunt, but every comment that's complaining about the movie "humanizing the cops/ villains" - yeah, not shit. The cops ARE human. Every villain in history was human. Either learn to accept this or accept you live in willful ignorance. Like come on.

  Impressive. I mean, I'm not entirely sure what I just watched, but the directing, camera work, sound design, practical effects, all combine well to create a film which has tense, awkward, creepy, and uncomfortable atmosphere from start to finish.
  Also it's pretty funny at times. I can't explain how but it is.
