Dark City 1998
Finally got around to watching Dark City. Absolute masterpiece, this is a new favorite. The cinematography, score, aesthetic, writing, thematic elements, performances, all incredible. The niche that this film fills is incredibly specific; I am in awe. Something like Dark City only happens once, irreplaceable. To write about the themes would be to spoil the film. All I can do is implore you experience it for yourself as soon as possible, specifically the Director's Cut.

This film is easy to relate to, it's about a girl who makes bad decisions, and I as a viewer, have made a bad decision viewing it. Dry to the point of criminality, the plot is incredulously difficult to follow. Eminently displeasing.

Blade Runner 2049 2017
Blade Runner 2049 will be my best movie of 2017, no doubt about it. I've always been a massive fan of science fiction and the Blade Runner universe fills a unique niche for me.
