Christmas with the Kranks 2004
What’s the worst part about suburbia? Neighbors. Deciding to live for them self once during the holidays, the Kranks appear to be held captive by dystopian group of eager neighborhood watch vigilantes hell bent to live out some sort of twisted perspective on what a blocks Christmas celebration should look like. This movie made me want to make my walls go up higher around my own home and explore how much a moat would cost to install.

Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood 2019
Far fetched, bold, offensive, and brilliant. When I watched this film the first time, I imagined it being as if my great uncle was telling me stories from his time working in Hollywood and the adventures he went on with and without the drugs. This trip took me the days of old and explored a beautiful rewrite of an American tragedy. Quentin never disappoints when he pushes the boundaries on what can and should be made.
