Russell T Davis returns to knock it out once more with this wonderful future-shock family drama. Up there as one of the best television offering of the year so far.

Quite simply, with out any degree of hyperbole, one of the greatest mini-series of modern times.
Phenomenal performances from a truly exceptional ensemble cast. Taut and tense writing that truly hammers home the abject horror of the event and its potential impact on the world had it not have been for the sacrifice of the brave men & women who tirelessly and selflessly laid their lives on the line for the greater good. Remarkable and breathtaking television.

One of the most iconic, atmospheric and genuinely scary independent horror movies of the last 20 years. I still remember to this day the effect of seeing this movie in the cinema, knowing next to nothing about it and being utterly blown away by the sheer invention and increasing sense of dread that built to THAT ending, I loved it so much that it became one of my all time favourite horror movies. I still love this film that much two decades later.

There are many things that make The avid movie fan excited and the prospect of a new Cohen Brothers picture is right up there in my estimation. This time around, the Cohens are trying their hand at a notoriously tricky proposition for any director, an anthology. Anthologies as a whole can be decidedly hit & miss affairs, for every great story you can have 2 or 3 duds, how does The Ballad of Buster Scruggs fare?

    What's The Ballad of Buster…
