One of those movies that feels like it was conceived around a few key scenes and shots (Jamie Lee Curtis dancing, Pamela on the roof at dawn) and then the rest is just there to fill the gaps. The result is some beautiful images and memorable moments, but not a lot more.
That said, I liked watching it!
Not a single uninspired shot in the whole thing. Just one stunning image after another. And it all comes together to hit like a freight train.
This movie was criminally under-marketed.

Really really wanted this movie to look better than it did. Loved the vampire design—inspired choice to put a mustache on the dude—but I just wish this movie was shot / lit / color graded in a way that actually showed off the terrific production design and costumes. I get the vibe they were after I just feel like the fact that you can’t see shit detracts from the film.
