Rafael "Mister Movie" Jovine’s review published on Letterboxd:
Guillermo would be proud. And so will probably Tim Burton.
This coming-of-age stop-motion short does a remarkable job, with its designs and morbid tone, of blending elements of Alice in Wonderland and giving it a dark and disturbing twist, but there's also a certain form of "beauty". The cinematography, direction, and overall production design all work together to immerse you in the story from the very first frame. Our protagonist, at least in my case, develops into a captivating figure in a relatively short amount of time.
All in all, a short film where the worst of it all is its short length, as I would have liked to explore more of this world.
