    This film has its flaws but you've got to appreciate it when a movie takes this big of a swing. The ambitions of the film feel gigantic, and it was undeniablly breathe-taking to witness it come curiously close to meeting those ambitions.
    Also, the budget for this being 10 million dollars is just as inspiring as anything in the film. I'm sure plenty questions will be asked by other current filmmakers. A great sign for the modern cinema landscape and a very good film.

    Aimless, both in message and in rhythm. Everything just unfolds without any culmination or destination. Ultimately a very well produced film with two skillful lead performances at it's centre, yet it refuses to confront the real world harm of these men and their empires. It follows the malevolent arch of Trump's career and metamorphosis from a semi-regular, wealthy guy into a power hungry lunatic rather well, even entertainingly. The issue is one of scope.     Straight after watching this I was totally illiterate. Since then I’ve been able to collect my sprawling thought and this is where I’m going to dump them.

    Bo Burnham is one of the most talented performers I’ve ever seen. So much work went into this thing. His lighting skills alone are freaky. I feel so privileged to be able to watch him evolve over the decades to come.
