M3GAN 2022
Letter grade: A
This is one of the best sci-fi horror films I have ever watched. It is the perfect mix of creepy, funny and terrifying all at the same time.
From a technical standpoint, this film excels on all levels. From the beginning, this movie sets up a future (ish) world where AI is much more competent than it is now. The sound design is perfect, the costume for M3GAN is perfect. The movie balances being campy and horrifying…

Underworld: Evolution 2006
Letter grade: D
There's not much I like about this film.
I don't know if I really needed the scene of Michael sensually pouring paint on the walls while music plays and then they bang.
We are all in at this point I guess.

Event Horizon 1997
Letter grade: B
Alright this is a f****** weird one. It's a blend of genres that I love, put together into a weird wild ride.
This is certainly a film that is driven by mood/vibe more than anything. There's not a lot to chew on in the plot, but that's fine. The feelings you experience watching the movie are more than enough to drive a great movie experience. It's a tight 96 minutes where you are clasping your hands together.
I think if you enjoyed films like Donnie Darko, you could have a good time with this one.

This is such a fun movie. It DEFINITELY reminds me of the 2000's. The shots, the music, the looks it all screams 2000's.
And I think it's amazing. The pacing of this film is perfect. We get great moments of slow walking through the zombies, we get emotional conversations and some hilarious moments.
Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are both hilarious together. All the other supporting characters are also incredible.
I recommend this to anyone.
Also bold…
