  This was an escalating nightmare of tension, dread, disquiet, marriage, driving, bad decisions, public humiliation, and reckless destruction and disposal of other people's property.  I didn't especially enjoy this as a comedy, but I did not dislike it.

  I understand that some found this a profound and moving experience. To me it seemed like shallow, trite nonsense by a navel gazing grifter and an off putting combination of cornball sentimentality and gimmicky trickery while also being dull, tedious and the type of theater experience I find excruciating
