This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Dan Stevens’ character may be awful but I still love him as an actor. However the real standout for me was Allison Brie- her character was my favorite, she was funny and emotional, and I wasn’t super familiar with her before but I’ll be watching for her now! It really felt like the plot was leading somewhere else completely. All in all it’s a fine scary movie to watch but don’t expect to be mind blown.

This movie is what it set out to be, which is a (dumb) action thriller. Honestly the most interesting part was the Traveller/bad guy. There are so many inconsistencies in logic. It was really boring at times. But it’s not so bad that it’s “funny bad”. If you want to turn off your brain and watch some action, this is the movie for you.
